Bloodletting therapy in Arab region called Al-Hijamah, which is similar to the bloodletting cupping,but Al-Hijamah has its own characteristics.This article focuses&nbsp; on&nbsp; the&nbsp; analysis&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; characteristics&nbsp; of&nbsp; Al-Hijamah,&nbsp; found&nbsp; that&nbsp; Al-Hijamah&nbsp; has specification of bloodletting operation, pay attention to the bleeding time, wide indications,clear contraindication and so on.</p><p><strong>KEY WORDS</strong>：Arab；pricking cupping；Al-Hijamah；characteristic</p><p><br/></p>
