<p style="text-align: center;">GUO Yang, FAN Jing, SI Yuhao, DING Ning, MA Yong*</p><p style="text-align: center;">(Department of Orthopedics, Affiliation Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing 210029; Research Institute of Orthopedics, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing, 210023)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Abstract</strong>:<strong> Objective: </strong>To innovate external treatment on knee osteoarthritis by integration of Good&nbsp; Conductive&nbsp; Collateral&nbsp; Regulating&nbsp; Therapy&nbsp; and&nbsp; MEMS&nbsp; Microneedle&nbsp; Motivating Technique.&nbsp; Using&nbsp; clinic&nbsp; evaluation&nbsp; and&nbsp; statistical&nbsp; analysis&nbsp; to&nbsp; assess&nbsp; its&nbsp; effectiveness&nbsp; and security.&nbsp; Method: We conducted a randomized,&nbsp; parallel control, and blindness in the present study. Sixty cases of knee osteoarthritis were enrolled, aged from 40-75 years old from clinic of&nbsp; Department&nbsp; of&nbsp; Orthopedics,&nbsp; Affiliation&nbsp; Hospital&nbsp; of&nbsp; Nanjing&nbsp; University&nbsp; of&nbsp; Chinese Medicine,&nbsp; divided&nbsp; to&nbsp; three&nbsp; groups&nbsp; randomly.&nbsp; Group&nbsp; I&nbsp; accepted&nbsp; MEMS&nbsp; Microneedle Motivating Good Conductive Points and Acupoint Sticking Therapy, Group II was treated with Compound Nanxing Analgesic Paste on Good Conductive Points, and control group was applied with Compound Nanxing Analgesic Paste only. Each group was treatment for 14 days. <strong>Results</strong>: Smaller medicinal dosage was used in Group I and II than that in control group. Concerning WOMAC score, group I had better effect than group II and control, and group II was better than control, either.
