  中医药已传播到196个国家和地区,在历史与当下均为人类健康做出了重要贡献,是人类文明的瑰宝。为传播与弘扬中医药文化,培养中医药国际化人才,进一步促进文明互鉴,民心相通,服务构建人类卫生健康共同体,同时也为全球大学生与青年中医搭建更高水平的学术交流平台,拓展国际视野和跨学科研究能力,世界针灸学会联合会指导,上海中医药大学中医药国际化发展研究中心和外交学院全球生物安全治理研究中心联合主办、衢州市中医医院承办“继洲杯”第八届全球大学生中医药国际化征文活动暨针灸国际科普展示活动,具体内容如下:

活动周期

  2026年7月-11月

参赛人

  在校大学生(本专科、硕士、博士在读),无国籍和高校专业限制。各中医药企业单位管培生、实习生等青年中医药从业者。

主题设置

  分为三个赛道,可任选赛道参与大赛。不同文章可投稿不同赛道,同一篇文章不可重复参加不同赛道。

  【行业赛道】

  内容涵盖中医药海外发展研究、海外针灸研究、中药海外种植研究、中医药与人工智能融合发展、中医药文化传播、中医药国际媒体内容、中医现代化国际展望、世界传统医学比较、中医药企业海外发展、中医药国际援助等方向。研究包括但不限于以上内容,亦可立足宏观视野,聚焦中医药国际化进程中的具体议题,开展多维度跨学科探索。

  文章要求为:语种可为中文或英文,采用学术论文体例,字数5000至10000字;并附200至300字中英文摘要。

  【创新赛道】:中医药专病、技法、特色科室等国际传播与创新方案

  在数字时代、信息时代,结合现代传播方式、科技水平、消费方式等,提出对于中医药特色疗法、名医传承在实践中的焕新建议与方案,包括:产品与服务设计、品牌打造、营销方案、非遗传承、科室建设、病人(用户)管理等。

  文章要求:语种可为中文或英文,文体不限,字数5000字为宜,图文并茂,同时提交200~300字中英文摘要。文章中原创图片可参与后续成果展示活动。

  【科普赛道】:中医药科普

  涵盖海外大众中医基础认知科普、海外针灸实操与养生科普、海外中药材辨识及药膳食疗科普、人工智能赋能中医便民应用科普、中医药跨文化趣味传播、面向海外受众的中医药媒体科普创作、现代化中医通俗解读、全球各国传统医学对比科普、中医药品牌海外大众科普实践、中医药国际援助暖心故事分享等方向。

  文章要求:语种可为中文或英文,文体不限,字数2000字为宜,图文并茂,同时提交200~300字中英文摘要。文章中原创图片可参与后续成果展示活动。

参与方式

  扫描下方二维码或点击链接(https://r81xgjdj.jsjform.com/f/UyDGhn),加入活动预报名群,填写报名表单,并在报名截止日期前按要求发送邮件提交论文,则报名成功。

  参赛论文请于北京时间8月10日24:00前,将文章保存为Word文档发至contact@wfas.org.cn,邮件标题请注明“国际化征文+参与赛道”,邮件中写明作者的姓名、学校,信息需与报名表单中一致。

 无微信的国外参赛同学,则请在邮件中注明作者的学校、国籍、民族、姓名、性别、年龄、专业、年级和联系电话。

  邮件命名示例:国际化征文+行业赛道。

评选方式

  1.初赛由大赛评审组专家进行论文初筛,筛选符合要求的论文进入复赛。进入复赛后开始进行短视频的制作与发布。

  2.本次大赛以培养中医药国际化人才为初衷,选手应具备相应的传播能力,选手需围绕自己的论文主题制作中医药网络传播短视频作品发布至网络平台(可计算传播量的自媒体即可)。决赛名额50%由专家评选论文产生,另外50%由作品的网络平台总播放量排名产生,进入复赛选手,组委会将提供电子参赛证书。

  3.决赛由选手进行论文汇报(PPT形式),评委依据现场汇报表现及文章内容打分。

  4.决赛中单独设置短视频评审;进入决赛的短视频作品作者录制3分钟视频进行创作阐释;评委依据作品质量、创意、作者表达、大赛期间传播量等,为短视频单独打分并排名。

  5.成果展示:公布成果展示名单,在后续的成果展示活动,展示优秀针灸国际科普作品。

奖励方式

  【行业赛道】获奖结果由决赛产生,将行业赛道决赛评委打分结果由高至低排列。第1-2名奖励人民币10000元,第3-8名奖励人民币5000元,第9-18名奖励人民币2000元。以上金额均含税费。

  【创新赛道】获奖结果由决赛产生,将创新赛道决赛评委打分结果由高至低排列,第1-8名奖励人民币2000元。以上金额均含税费。

  【科普赛道】获奖结果由决赛产生,将科普赛道决赛评委打分结果由高至低排列,第1-8名奖励人民币2000元。以上金额均含税费。

  【短视频】获奖结果由决赛产生,将短视频决赛评委打分结果由高至低排列,第1-6名奖励人民币1500元。以上金额均含税费。

  特别提示:同一篇论文不可同时参与多个赛道;参赛文章必须为未公开发表的文章,已公开发表过的文章不得参加,如文章被发现违规,将被取消参赛资格;选手发布至各媒体平台的短视频作品需符合相应平台要求,视频被禁播或封号则播放数据以零计算。

Jizhou Cup” 8th World Essay Competition for College Students: Internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine & International Showcase of Acupuncture Science Popularization


Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has spread to 196 countries and regions and has made significant contributions to human health throughout history and in the present day. It is a treasure of human civilization. To promote and carry forward TCM culture, cultivate internationally oriented TCM professionals, further advance mutual learning among civilizations and people-to-people connectivity, contribute to building a global community of health for all, and provide a higher-level academic exchange platform for university students and young TCM practitioners worldwide while broadening their international perspectives and strengthening their interdisciplinary research capabilities, the “Jizhou Cup” 8th World Essay Competition for College Students on the Internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the International Showcase of Acupuncture Science Popularization will be held under the guidance of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). The event will be jointly organized by the Center for International Development of TCM of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Center for Global Biosecurity Governance of China Foreign Affairs University, and hosted by Quzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Details are as follows:

Competition Duration

From July to November, 2026

Participants

College students (junior college students, undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates), with no restriction on nationality, university or major. Young TCM practitioners, including management trainees and interns at various TCM enterprises and institutions.

Theme Categories

The competition is divided into three groups. Participants may choose any group to enter. Different essays can be submitted to different groups, but the same paper cannot be submitted to multiple groups.

【Professional Group】

Topics include the overseas development of TCM, acupuncture research overseas, the overseas cultivation of Chinese medicinal plants, the integrated development of TCM and artificial intelligence, international communication of TCM culture, TCM-related content for international media, international prospects for the modernization of TCM, comparative studies of traditional medicine around the world, the overseas development of TCM enterprises, and international TCM assistance. Topics are not limited to the above. Participants may also adopt a macro perspective, focus on specific issues in the internationalization of TCM, and conduct multidimensional and interdisciplinary research.

Language: Essays shall be written in Chinese or English and must follow the conventions of academic writing. They should be 5,000–10,000 words in length. A 200–300-word abstract in both Chinese and English is also required.

Innovation Group】: Global Promotion and Innovation of TCM Specialized Therapies, Techniques, and Clinical Departments

In the digital and information age, participants should draw on modern communication methods, technological developments, and evolving patterns of consumption to propose innovative recommendations and plans for the contemporary development of distinctive TCM therapies and the transmission of the expertise of renowned TCM practitioners. Topics may include product and service design, brand building, marketing plans, the safeguarding and transmission of intangible cultural heritage, clinical department development, and patient (user) management.

Language: Essays shall be written in Chinese or English, with no restriction on genre. They should be approximately 5,000 words in length and include both text and illustrations. A 200–300-word abstract in both Chinese and English is also required. Original images included in the entry may be presented in subsequent showcase activities.

Science Popularization Group】: TCM Science Popularization

Topics include popularizing basic knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine among the general public overseas; practical acupuncture techniques and health-preservation knowledge for overseas audiences; identification of Chinese medicinal materials and knowledge of medicated diets and dietary therapy; AI-enabled, user-friendly applications of traditional Chinese medicine; engaging cross-cultural communication of traditional Chinese medicine; creation of TCM-related popular science content for overseas audiences through various media; accessible explanations of modernized traditional Chinese medicine; comparative introductions to traditional medicine systems around the world; overseas public outreach practices by TCM brands; and inspiring stories of international TCM assistance.

How to Participate

Your registration will be complete once these steps have been completed.

Please send your essay in Word format to contact@wfas.org.cn no later than 24:00 Beijing Time, August 10, 2026. Please use “Essay TCM internationalization + [Group]” as the subject, and state your name and university in the email. The information must be consistent with that provided in the registration form.

For international participants without WeChat, please include the following information in your submission email: Author's school, nationality, ethnicity, full name, gender, age, academic major, year of study, and contact number.

Competition Rules

1.Experts of the review group will conduct the preliminary screening of papers, and select the papers that meet the requirements to enter the semi-final competition. Participants who advance to the semi-finals will be required to create and post short video content.

2.The competition is intended to cultivate internationally oriented TCM professionals, and contestants are expected to demonstrate relevant communication skills. Contestants who advance to the semi-finals must create a short video based on the topic of their essay to promote TCM online and publish it on a social media platform where view counts can be recorded. Fifty percent of the finalists will be selected by the expert panel based on their essays, while the other 50 percent will be determined by the ranking of the videos’ total views across online platforms. The Organizing Committee will issue electronic participation certificates to contestants who advance to the semi-finals.

3. In the final round, participants will deliver presentations of their essays (using PowerPoint slides). Judges will score based on both the live presentation performance and the content of the essay.

4. Short videos will be evaluated separately during the final round. Authors whose short videos advance to the final round must record a three-minute video explaining their creative concept and process. The judges will score and rank the short videos separately based on their quality, creativity, the author’s presentation, and their reach during the competition period.

5. Outcomes Showcase: A list of selected works will be announced. Outstanding acupuncture science popularization works for international audiences will be presented at subsequent showcase activities.

Awards

【Professional Group】

Awards will be determined by ranking judges’ scores from the finals in descending order. The 1st and 2nd place winners will each receive RMB 10,000; the 3rd to 8th place winners will each receive RMB 5,000; and the 9th to 18th place winners will each receive RMB 2,000. All amounts are inclusive of taxes and fees.

Innovation Group】

Awards will be determined by ranking judges’ scores from the finals in descending order. The top 8 winners will each receive RMB 2,000. All amounts are inclusive of taxes and fees.

Science Popularization Group】

Awards will be determined by ranking judges’ scores from the finals in descending order. The top 8 winners will each receive RMB 2,000. All amounts are inclusive of taxes and fees.

【Short Video】

Awards will be determined by ranking judges’ scores from the finals in descending order. The top 6 winners will each receive RMB 1,500. All amounts are inclusive of taxes and fees.

Note:

Each essay may be submitted to only one group. Entries must be previously unpublished. Any entry found to have already been published will be disqualified. Short videos posted on media platforms must comply with the rules of the respective platforms. If a video is removed or the relevant account is suspended, its view count will be deemed zero.
