Any organizations applying for membership of WFAS are requested to read WFAS Constitution carefully, especially Chapter Ⅲ Membership. Following documents are required to be presented to WFAS Secretariat:
1. Completely-filled application form in English or Chinese
2. Constitution of or brief introduction to the organization applying for membership of WFAS
3. The copy of registration certificate issued by authorities of the Government
4. Brief history related to acupuncture of the organization applying for membership of WFAS
Article 1 Only those acupuncture groups that are proved to be up to the provision of Article 5 and 6 listed in the constitution, are qualified to apply for membership.
Article 2 Applicants, after reading WFAS constitution and explanation carefully, shall fill in application form and submit it together with required documents and letters of recommendation from member societies of WFAS to Secretary-General for formal application.
Article 3 Secretariat of WFAS will examine the required documents and making further investigation of applicant, after that, Secretary-General will submit the written report to Executive Committee for postal ballot.
Article 4 The applicant will become a qualified member of WFAS from the day of notice after confirmed by the executive members. The notice of membership will be signed and issued by Secretary-General of WFAS.
International acupuncture organizations can only be admitted as fellowship members, and admission procedures will remain the same as mentioned above.
