This was a milestone in the thousands-of-years history of acupuncture and moxibustion. This year marks the 30th anniversary of WFAS. For 30 years, acupuncture and moxibustion has advanced dramatically all over the world, changing from purely a therapeutic technology into an independent medical discipline, and is gradually entering mainstream health system. The great progress of WFAS cannot be achieved without the support from the Chinese government and the efforts of fellow acupuncture professionals all over the world. We will never forget why we started and keep our mission firmly in mind, and we will follow the steps of the older generation to be sincere and forge ahead, striving to promote acupuncture-moxibustion to a new upsurge in the world.’
