Department of Academic Affairs:
The Department of Academic Affairs of WFAS is a functional department for management of academic affairs of WFAS. It is mainly responsible for the work on the construction of the organization, promotion of academic levels of WFAS, academic activities, international contact, and propagandization and dissemination.
 
Scopes of its function
1 Study and make design of details on the development of the business concerned of WFAS, responsible for organization and implementation.
2 Plan, prepare and organize academic conferences and other related congress and activities of WFAS.
3 Be responsible for preparation and organization of directors sessions, executive members sessions, presidents meeting and general assembly.
4 Deal with matters in relevant with the enlargement of member societies of WFAS, applications for membership to WFAS and procedures involved.
5 Be responsible for communications between WFAS and its members or persons who serve as directors or at the above level.
6 Handle the things regarding applications for establishment of special committees, registration and related procedures, instruction, supervision, management and construction of the committee, and services it may provide.
7 It is the right department in the secretariat of WFAS for dissemination.
8 Be responsible for the contact, personnel and academic exchange and others may be concerned.
9 Be responsible for matters concerning the promotion and development of Chinese acupuncture culture and acupuncture science.
10 Be responsible for contact with Chinese government authorities in relevant.
