Basic Course of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (4 week)

Curriculum

Objectives:

1. To understand the basics of acupuncture and moxibustion theories.

2. To know and be able to use the basic acupuncture and moxibustion techniques to deal with common conditions.

Training period: 4 weeks (20 days with weekends exclusive)

Start dates: the 1st or 3rd Monday of a month (minor adjustment applicable when there are national holidays)

Textbook: Essentials of Chinese Acupuncture

Language: English or Chinese-to-English interpretation

Minimum number of students*: 5

*The course will not be organized if there are fewer applications than the minimum number of students

Tuition: CNY 9800 per student

Certificate: issued by Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS)

Note:

1. The teacher may mildly adsjust the teaching content of a certain period based on actual situation and subject to consent by the students.

2. The teacher may decide to take 5-15 minute break during each lecture based on actual situation.

3. Hospital for clinical practice: Acupuncture and Moxibustion Hospital under China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS) or Tongren Hospital.
