　　今年我们将迎来了2024年11月16—22日——第十一个“世界针灸周”，世界针灸学会联合会（以下简称“世界针联”）秘书处衷心地感谢全球各团体会员单位、工作委员会，以及世界各地同仁们对中医针灸事业的付出与努力，并致以真挚的问候！

　　2010年11月16日，联合国教科文组织审议并通过“中医针灸”被列入《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》，这标志着中医针灸在人类医学发展史上的巨大贡献得到充分认可与高度肯定。2024年10月，围绕“针灸的研究推广与临床应用”主题，在英国伦敦成功举办了世界针灸学会联合会2024国际针灸学术研讨会，吸引了30多个国家和地区500多位中医药针灸专家学者共襄学术盛会，会上隆重发布《针灸临床研究证据蓝皮书（2015-2024）》，促进针灸这一非遗智慧让全球共享！

　　值此2024年“世界针灸周”来临之际，在近年来保护与传承“中医针灸”非遗系列活动的基础上，世界针联秘书处号召我学会团体会员、各工作委员会和全球中医针灸工作者，积极开展2024年“世界针灸周”活动，围绕“非遗针灸，全球共享”开展丰富多彩的学术交流活动，包括“学术研讨”“前沿进展”“成果转化”“公益活动”“科普讲座”“义诊服务”“出版书籍或期刊”“中医针灸文创”“快闪视频”和“新媒体宣传”等形式开展系列活动。

　　“世界针灸周”活动信息请以文字（500字以内，word版）、照片或视频等形式发送到世界针联秘书处邮箱。我们将在世界针联官方网站发布贵组织的活动风采，请您于2024年11月26日之前报送至世界针联秘书处，谢谢您的支持与配合！

WFAS Announcement

of the 11st World Acupuncture Week 2024

Dear esteemed Member Societies, Working Committees, Global TCM Practitioners:

On this occasion of the 11st World Acupuncture Week from 16th to 22nd of November 2024, the Secretariat of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) hereby send our sincere gratitude to all member societies, working committees and colleagues for your effort and contributions to the advancement of this profession.

On November 16th 2010, Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Traditional Chinese Medicine was inscribed on the Representative list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, marking the full recognition and endorsement of the great contributions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of TCM in the human history of medicine. In October 2024, WFAS 2024 International Symposium on Acupuncture-Moxibustion held in London, the United Kingdom, with the theme of “Acupuncture Research and Clinical Applications”, attracting more than 500 TCM acupuncture experts and scholars from more than 30 countries and regions to participate in the academic event. “Blue Book on Evidence of Clinical Research of Acupuncture (2015-2024)” was released at the symposium, which promotes the intangible wisdom of acupuncture to be shared globally.

Regarding the solid foundation of activities on protecting and inheriting TCM Acupuncture-Moxibustion in recent years, WFAS calls on member societies, Working Committees and acupuncture-moxibustion practitioners to actively carry out various activities of the 2024 World Acupuncture Week. Activities may be related to “Intangible Cultural heritage acupuncture, global sharing”, including “academic discussions”, “progress at the forefront”, “revolutionizing accomplishments”, “public welfare activities”, “popular science lectures”, “free clinic services”, “publications or journals”, “acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM cultural creativities”, “flash videos” and “new media propaganda” , and many other forms to carry out a series of activities.

Reports of events shall be sent to email of the Secretariat, in the form of text (within 500 English words, word vision), photos or videos, which will be published on WFAS official website. Please kindly submit the materials to the Secretariat of WFAS no later than 26 November 2024. Your attention and support is greatly appreciated.
